How do I receive my medication?

Once the order has been placed, our licensed physician will review your questionnaire. Once approved for the prescription, your product will be shipped and delivered within 1-2 business days.

How do I check the status of my delivery?

If you reside in Ontario, a dedicated driver will be delivering your package directly to your door within 1-2 business days. If you reside outside of Ontario, your order will be sent via Courier and can be tracked in the Restoration Haircare site under My Orders. (link)

How do I ensure my delivery arrives safely?

We require signature upon delivery of our medications. If you are not able to sign for delivery, an authorized agent may sign for the medication in your absence.

What is Minoxidil, and how does it work for hair restoration?

Minoxidil is a topical solution or foam that is commonly used to treat hair loss. It works by stimulating hair follicles, promoting hair regrowth, and slowing down hair loss. Minoxidil increases blood flow to the hair follicles, encouraging them to enter the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle.

Can Minoxidil work for everyone?

While Minoxidil has proven effective for many individuals, results can vary. It tends to work best in individuals with mild to moderate hair loss, especially at the crown or the vertex of the scalp. For those with advanced hair loss, Minoxidil may help slow further hair thinning or regrow hair, but it may not be as effective for full restoration.

Are there any side effects of Minoxidil?

Some people may experience mild side effects, including: scalp irritation or dryness, unwanted facial hair growth (if the product inadvertently spreads to areas other than the scalp), and a shedding phase during the first few weeks (temporary hair shedding that often precedes new hair growth). If you experience significant irritation or other side effects, it’s best to consult with our doctors for next steps.

What side effects are associated with Finasteride?

Some men may experience side effects, including decreased libido, erectile dysfunction and/or reduced semen volume. However, these side effects are rare and usually resolve after discontinuing the medication. If you experience any of these issues, consult with our doctors to determine the best course of action.
